Tattoo Therapy

Home / Services & Therapy / Tattoo Therapy

I made up the concept for “tattoo therapy” after countless phone calls from friends asking me to help them come up with an idea for a tattoo. Since college I’ve been helping people come up with their tattoo ideas, based off of situations they’ve been through. Many of my clients, like myself, have tattoos or want tattoos, so I decided to create a service where together we come up with tattoo ideas that fit your story and your style.

How “Tattoo Therapy” Can Help

To me, getting a sentimental tattoo is extremely therapeutic. If a tattoo commemorates a milestone, it can be motivational in times of struggle. If it commemorates a struggle, it can be a reminder to keep going or of how far you’ve come. The tattoo is the tangible end product, the process of turning your story into art is, therapeutically speaking, in a class of it’s own.

My Approach to Working With Clients Who Are Considering a Tattoo

We look at your story, what you want to convey, where you want to put it, and together come up with ideas that are significant to you. It’s as complicated and as simple as that.

Things to Consider

Tattoos are permanent. You are NEVER obliged to actually get the tattoo we design. Although tattoos can be very therapeutic, in my opinion, they also can cause other issues (vocational, relational, etc). It is important to really think about the tattoo and how it might impact you and your life.
